SHARP Dance Company invites you to take a step back in time to 1900’s France with a full night of SHARP material in "Une Soirée au Cabaret”, recreating the naughty, bawdy cabarets of France. Originally created for the 2011 Philadelphia International Festival of the Arts (PIFA), “Une Soiree au Cabaret” went on to tour nationally and internationally at the Bedford Fringe in the UK.
The Master of Ceremonies, Broadway singer Ben Michael, guides the audience through an evening of collaboration in dance and live vocals, and art. With original choreography by Miguel Quiñones, Sandra Davis and Artistic Director, Diane Sharp-Nachsin combining with live vocals performed by Jenn Hallman and Chelsea Stanell, this performance is an enticing event of live entertainment that encompasses pastiche, parody, and wit.
